These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SynthCaaS and related services. By using SynthCaaS, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SynthCaaS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

SynthCaaS provides a personal data and memory infrastructure that allows you to connect data sources, generate memory artifacts, and access personalized context through various integration methods (API, MCP, webhooks).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use SynthCaaS. By using our service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • One person or entity per account; accounts are non-transferable

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use SynthCaaS for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our service
  • Use the service to process data you don't have rights to
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
  • Use automated systems to access the service beyond normal API usage

6. Data and Content

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you provide to SynthCaaS. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide our services.

Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect and process data from any source you link to SynthCaaS. You agree to comply with all applicable data protection laws.

7. Intellectual Property

SynthCaaS and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our service is provided under license, not sold.

8. API and Integration Terms

  • API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas
  • You must not share API keys or credentials
  • We may modify or discontinue API features with reasonable notice
  • You must comply with any additional terms for specific integrations

9. Payment Terms

During the early access period, SynthCaaS is free to use. When we introduce paid plans:

  • Fees will be clearly communicated before you are charged
  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Refunds will be handled according to our refund policy

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
  • Address emergency issues that may cause temporary disruption
  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue features with notice

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

SYNTHCAAS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYNTHCAAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SynthCaaS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction to be determined], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Dispute Resolution
